My name is Sal Tabit, and I’m running for State Representative for the 17th Essex District. I’m the guy who gets up to an alarm clock, goes to work every day, takes the kids to soccer on Saturdays and spends his nights trying to figure out how I am going to pay for college tuitions and save for retirement. I'm the guy who stands by the water cooler talking about all that is wrong
with our elected officials. Frankly, all of this complaining has become far too consuming. Maybe the time has come for me to make better use of my energy, time and talent. I can spend the rest of my life frustrated by the uninspired representation of our political leaders, or I can roll up my sleeves, listen to the taxpayers and embrace this bold season of change while trying to make a difference once and for all. After weighing my options, I believe the time is right to step up to the plate.
